MAKING UP OF THE PRODUCTS:

		Clay which is used for making various Terracotta products is got from the paddy fields and ponds. 
		It is preserved for months so that it becomes suitable for shaping.

		Terracotta is made with the help of Potter’s wheel. It is a circular wheel on which the clay is placed. 
		The wheel is rotated continuously and the craftsman uses his hands to carefully shape the clay into the
		desired one. Great skill and patience is required in making up terracotta products.

		The products are smoothened with a wet cloth. It is then covered with a thin cloth to prevent it from
		cracking and dried under sun. The Terracotta products are fired within a closed container that is placed 
		in the kiln.
